Please check our website for prices, rates fluctuate depending on seasons and promotional offers. Generally speaking, a full rented yacht with 12 guests would typically cost between $100 and $180 per person if divided up amongst the 12 guests.

We do offer discounts for weekday rentals.

Our rates INCLUDE ALL water-sports packages, kayaks, paddle boards, a smaller RIB tender - dingy - speedboat that can be used to pull the tubes, water skiing, and knee boarding!

A cooler, ice, and water are provided.

Our package also includes a fuel budget for local touring.

We offer 3 time windows each day. They are slightly adjustable and extendable so long as it does not interfere with other reservations. The time offerings are 9-Noon, 1-4, and 4:30-7:30. The third time slot can be started at a later time if requested. Later evening or night bookings might also available upon request. Beautiful sunset cruises are very popular. Sunset cruises are usually from 6 to 9 but can be adjusted the schedule allows.

Our 50 ft yacht named Tranquility is located in Oyster Bay, NY at the Oyster Bay Marine Center.

Our other yachts are located in Glen Cove NY, at the Safe Harbor Marina. 128 Shore Rd Glen Cove NY 11542 We do have a few other affiliated yachts that become available from time to time at these two locations as well.

The rental excursions are each a 3 hour packages. However, you can combine them or add time if the schedule allows. This can be discussed/coordinated when the booking is being made. Note: There is a minimum rental of 3 hours for each yacht rental. For Manhattan trips with Serenity, it is a 6 hour rental because the additional time will be needed to travel to and from the statue of liberty.

-“Tranquility” stays within the bays of Oyster Bay and Cold Spring Harbor due to time allowance.

Traveling to a customized destination must be arranged during booking.

The Glen Cove Yachts can travel to the Manhattan or a destination of your choice.

Maximum of 12 guests (plus crew) is allowed on the bare boat / demise charter yacht rentals.

Yes. Most of the yachts have 2 bathrooms! Also, the marina has bathroom facilities that you can use before boarding and after disembarking.

Yes, we can supply a list of local options for deli, pizzeria, Chinese food or catered food that you can bring onboard the Yachts. We do intend on adding all of our recommendations onto a page in our website before the 2026 season begins.

The excursions include the following:

“Tranquility” in Oyster Bay: Large floats to lay out on or swim off of, 2 stand up paddle boards, a 2-person kayak, a smaller tender / RIB speed boat that can be used for joy rides or to do tubing on our 4-person tube. The smaller boat may be used to shuttle people to and from the shore / beach etc.

We also include ice, water, and a large cooler for you to use.

“Serenity” in Glen Cove includes a 2-person kayak, a stand up paddle board, and also a tender / RIB - speed boat for tubing with our 2-person sit up tube. We include ice, water, and a large cooler for you to utilize.

Other boat options will vary.

Regarding Captain / Crew / staff, we do not charge any extra fees, they work for the renter, for 20% gratuities.

We do provide ice and water. We also provide a large cooler for you to utilize. We also have a refrigerator and freezer onboard each vessel. You are welcome to use the BBQ on Tranquility.

Food and drinks are not included. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages.

Yes alcohol is allowed.

Yes, you may bring what ever you like to eat or drink.

Whatever you wish, its your rental. Just, we would advise that it is a good idea to try to keep it simple and compact as well as neat and orderly. Keep in mind that everything needs to be carried across a gravel parking lot, transported down the docks, loaded into a smaller / shuttle boat to get out to the larger boat, than carried up the ladders into the larger boat, stored safely ect. Sometimes a box is a good idea with everything safe and tightly packed inside to prevent spillage ect. Note; All trash will need to leave with you, as we do not have a way to discard the trash on the boat.

Yes, there are several local restaurants / bars to visit while cruising. Go for cocktails or meals. You may choose to be dropped off at a local bar / restaurant that is within walking distance from your vehicles.

We will further elaborate on this list prior to 2026 season.

For the Oysterbay location, you might choose: Coopers Bluff located in the marina parking lot at 5 Bay Avenue Oyster bay, Or another choice is in Cold Spring Harbor called Harbor Mist at 105 Harbor Rd, Cold Spring Harbor.

If you would be on one of our Glen Cove Yachts, the closest choices would be: Lauras BBQ at 128 Shore rd Glen Cove NY, or "The Cove" restaurant and Oysterbar at 74 Shore rd Glen Cove NY.

Yes, on Tranquility and Serenity we do have a BBQ that can be utilized, we are happy to assist with the use of the BBQ. We have all cooking utensils available for use.

Yes, although life jackets are supplied enough for everyone on board, bringing your own comfortable or customized sizings / styles is certainly allowed.

If you have young children, we recommend and encourage that you have them in a life vest before walking down the dock – in their own appropriately sized vest. Note: All children 13 or less must be wearing a life vest at all times while the boat is in motion. This includes, while on the marina dock, and, while on the shuttle boat that will bring your group out to the yacht.

Yes, the time can be extended, however, we would need to discuss this when you are booking so that we can make sure it does not interfere with other booking time slots. The evening is the easiest time to extend because, usually there is no other group boarding after your party. The mid day is sometimes extendable if reserved early enough in the season before we fill up the schedule. The morning time slot, we would usually have to extend it by adding time on the earlier end, meaning, start earlier, and we can add some time on the back end as well to get an extra hour or so. Note: Regarding value pricing, We do give the best deals out to the morning time slots.

Yes, the renter / charterer is required by law to sign a bare-boat charter agreement which we also combine with a waver. All adult guests on the rented vessel must also sign a waver of liability. There must be a legal parent or guardian for children. Note: We will not be held responsible for any injuries or death that may occur during, before, or after a rental relating to a booking or outing with Long Island Yacht Rental, or any of the yachts owners, or any representative or employee associated with the rental.

Yes, you may link up to our blue tooth sound system and choose to play your own play list. We must be conservative with the volume when in the marina area or near other boaters, however, once out in the open space, it is ok to crank up the volume within reason.

If you choose to have crew from our recommended list, which is usually the case, The captain / crew / staff taking care of the yachts would be compensated from the 20% gratuities that the renter would be required to pay separately from the rental price.

We have a list of crew that will be shared to a renter, who are qualified, who agree to manage the operations for their fair share of the 20% gratuity that is required to be paid from the renter. Note: By bareboat rules, law, the crew must not receive any compensation from the owner of the vessel. The crew would have to be paid directly from the renter, and that is the reason for the agreed 20% gratuity.

Yes, shoes are allowed on the yachts. What is an is not allowed:

We ask that you consider gentle, soft sole boat friendly shoes. White or light color soles. Sneakers and flip flops are ok.

No dark black shoes because they make scuff marks that are difficult to remove. Also, no high heals, or pointy heals because they damage the soft foam decking and also cause a liability issue.

All trash will need to leave with you, as we do not have a way to discard the trash on the boat. Please consider this when bringing stuff on the yacht, to keep it minimal.
